Twenty miles to the south of Denton is Southlake, where you’ll find Marshall Creek Ranch. Surrounding the pristine shores of Lake Grapevine, the riding routes encompass a whopping 2,200 acres of Texas’ finest equestrian terrain. White-tailed deer, coyotes, red-headed turkey vultures, and great blue herons populate the paths, which total over 39 miles in length. Trail rides are offered for riders of all experience levels and group sizes with advance reservations. The staff at Marshall Creek Ranch would be delighted to host your upcoming birthday bash or perhaps your wedding proposal.
Visit Marshall Creek Ranch for an unforgettable experience. The 12,000 forested acres surrounding picturesque Lake Grapevine are home to a wide variety of plant and animal species. You’ll have to ford creeks, walk across shifting terrain, and make your way through dense forests on your route to the lake. Don’t worry if you have never ridden before; they are pros at helping novices.
Because there are so many distinct riding tiers to choose from, prior reservations are compulsory. Dress accordingly once you have made a reservation to ride. Required attire includes long pants and calf-high socks. Do not expect to ride in a large pasture behind a herd of twenty horses. You’ll be riding along old-fashioned, rustic paths to the lake. If you want to avoid the wind and be warm, you should take to the Western Trails. Visit the Ranch’s official website for a detailed overview of their Schedule, Riding Levels, Hours, and Pricing. The riding is great and the wildlife is intriguing.
For the months of June through August, kids and teens aged 7 to 15 can participate in the Summer Lesson program at Marshall Creek Ranch. Groups of students of similar ages and skill levels meet during the summer for structured learning experiences. When deciding which session is best for your child, keep in mind their age and riding experience by reading the session descriptions.
Every day at Summer Lessons Camp is full with fun and fascinating camp activities. You’ll get your own horse for the week and a Marshall Creek Ranch Camp T-shirt on the first day. Every morning when you get up, you’ll go get your horse so you may start the day off well and make progress toward your objectives. At camp, you’ll be working on a secret project that you won’t be able to share with your parents until the final barbeque. Forty hours of lessons and riding will leave you feeling confident and ready to show off your newfound skills.
After some time in the ring, you and your horse will be ready to take your training out into the open. Your application will not be processed until they have received it, so please do not delay. A maximum of twelve people can participate in each session, therefore if you try to sign up after one of those slots has already been taken, you’ll be put on a waiting list.
